God's Challenge...
"Whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable- if anything is excellent or praiseworthy - think about such things." Philippians 4:8

Our Response...
Pray for Christian influences in the media industry. Ask God to honor actors and artists who stand for Christ, bless producers who recognize the need for family- friendly entertainment and increase the success of godly films and initiatives. Pray, also, that the younger generation will be shielded from the immorality that is so pervasive throughout Hollywood.

Our Response...
Pray for God's presence in our schools, colleges and universities. Ask Him to select teachers and administrators who honor His statutes, protect our children and inspire them to discover their God-given callings. As we lift up this vital and influential institution, it's our hope that a reverence for scriptural tenets will once again permeate America's classrooms.

This God-ordained institution has the potential to impact the culture mightily as husbands, wives, parents and children embody the love, grace and truth of Christ.

National Day of Prayer 2010- The Countdown

The 59th Annual National Day of Prayer will take place Thursday, May 6, 2010. Millions will unite in prayer at thousands of events from coast to coast. The theme for this year is “Prayer for Such a Time as This” and is based on the verse from Nahum 1:7 which states: “The LORD is good, a refuge in times of trouble. He cares for those who trust in Him.”

Teach me how to Pray- Part 1 of 3

World Day of Prayer is a worldwide movement of Christian women of many traditions who come together to observe a common day of prayer each year, and who, in many countries, have a continuing relationship in prayer and service. I had a great opportunity to speak at our local World Day of Prayer Event in Whitefish, Mt on March 5th 2010.

Here is Part 1 of 3.

What is your calling?

Christmas 2004 was really memorable. It was December 18th, 2004, and we left behind Florida, everybody and everything that we loved to follow a Call. We just celebrated our 5th year in Montana, and this journey has been a joy. Remember with us this remarkable time in our lives.

When we moved to Montana, I never would have thought that we would love living here the way we do and the special relationships that God would give us! Now looking back five years later... being a senior pastor of a church for three years, starting our own para-church ministry these past two years, serving our Christian and public schools, serving "hand and hand" with the Whitefish Pastors and our community as a whole, and now serving as one of six Police Chaplains, it is beautiful to see and know without a shadow of doubt, that we are in the perfect will of God for our lives!

Prayer for the Harvest Ministries- March 2010 Newsletter

Greetings friends, prayer warriors, and supporters of Prayer for the Harvest Ministries. Proverbs 19:21 says, "Many are the plans in a man's heart, but it is the Lord's purpose that prevails" (NIV).

From May 2009 to October 2009, God has poured out His Spirit on Eliana, Juliana, and I to minister in so many areas and to so many people in His strength by the preaching of the Word of God, through prayer meetings and our home-based physical fitness business, "Beachbody." God has sustained us so that we can minister to others. Here are just some of the highlights of our ministry.

In May we headed up the National Day of Prayer here in Whitefish, Montana, met weekly with the pastors of Whitefish in prayer and encouragement. Also in May, I flew to Wisconsin to teach on the ministry of prayer at the Calvary Chapel Tri-State Men's Retreat where we saw many men reconciled to the Lord in intimacy in prayer.
